Valves

Alloy Steel: Alloy steel valves are made from alloy steel, which is a type of steel that has additional alloying elements such as chromium, molybdenum, and nickel. The most common grades of alloy steel used for valves are ASTM A217 WC6, ASTM A217 WC9, ASTM A217 C5, and ASTM A217 C12. Alloy steel valves are available in various sizes, from 1/4" to 48", and in various pressure ratings, from class 150 to class 2500.

  1. Copper Nickel: Copper nickel valves are made from copper nickel alloys, which are known for their excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and other harsh environments. The most common grades of copper nickel used for valves are ASTM B151 C70600 and ASTM B151 C71500. Copper nickel valves are available in various sizes, from 1/4" to 24", and in various pressure ratings, from class 150 to class 1500.

In addition to the grades of valves, they come in various specifications such as type, size, and end connections. The most common types of valves are ball valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves, and butterfly valves. The size and end connections of valves depend on the application requirements and can vary widely. The end connections refer to the method used to connect the valve to the piping system, and the most common types are threaded, socket weld, butt weld, and flanged

Valves are used to control the flow of fluids, gases, and other materials in a wide range of industrial applications. They come in a variety of grades and specifications, depending on the application requirements. Here are some of the most common grades and specifications for valves:

Carbon Steel: Carbon steel valves are made from carbon steel, which is known for its strength and durability. The most common grades of carbon steel used for valves are ASTM A216 WCB and ASTM A105. Carbon steel valves are available in various sizes, from 1/4" to 48", and in various pressure ratings, from class 150 to class 2500.

Stainless Steel: Stainless steel valves are made from stainless steel, which is known for its corrosion resistance and strength. The most common grades of stainless steel used for valves are ASTM A351 CF8, ASTM A351 CF8M, and ASTM A351 CF3M. Stainless steel valves are available in various sizes, from 1/4" to 48", and in various pressure ratings, from class 150 to class 2500.
